Shilo Cabinets & Interiors

Shilo did the cabinets for our custom home. We moved into our home April 2022. Today I repaired another one of MULTIPLE cabinet doors that have fallen completely off and do not close smoothly. Not to mention the laughable "soft close" attachments which are constantly falling off and I have to put back on daily. The screws they used to attach all of our cabinet doors are tiny, no matter how tall the door is. We are going to have to replace all the screws ourselves as we have young kids and are afraid that one of them will be injured when one of the cabinet doors falls off on them. I have attached a photo of the screws that they used on ALL of our cabinets, along with a photo of the larger, longer screws that are required to make our cabinets safe and useable once I put it in place. If you are looking for a custom cabinet company with attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, good communication and timeliness then keep on looking! Shilo Cabinet is not good at any of those! Some things promised we're not done and I had to repair multiple issues myself including screws that were drilled through the drawer fronts completely missing the frames. Also make sure to get a detailed estimate with every line item listed out because otherwise some things that were ordered may be added to your bill at the end as "add-ons". In addition I would hope they buy a laser level because I had to realign multiple cabniets before a different company could install my quartz counters. Wonderful, locally owned business! Todd and Kristen were so easy to work with and communicate with. Questions and concerns were addressed in a timely manner. As with many construction jobs, there were delays but they were always upfront about what was going on and why (mainly weather related and out of their control). My job was relatively small, but they completed it with the utmost attention to detail and my guest room looks amazing!
