Shipley Energy

We had an installation through Haly/shipley for a furnace and air conditioner and it was a horrible experience. Our air conditioner would shut off every couple days and the service techs who came out (through Shipley) were rude and clueless. We eventually got a different HVAC company to come out and parts were missing and it wasn’t installed correctly. We also had a furnace that was purchased through haly and installed through Shipley and down the line had a gas leak that was caused by improper parts fitting and the lines being cracked. Awful experience. I will say the installers all had Shipley vehicles so it seems they were the issue, but our quote was through haly so it’s disappointing they used Shipley for the service installation.

Our technician Jeff did a thorough inspection and cleaning of our furnace system. He was courteous and explained the various steps of the tune-up process, including area to watch for potential issues. He also gave us a heads-up regarding an expansion tank that was not functioning properly and suggested replacement to avoid future issues. Really appreciated the completeness of the inspection!

Dan was excellent. He sorted out some issues, realize he needed som additional support and called for additional assistance. He kept me informed throughout the process, developing a level of trust that made me appreciate his efforts. When I received a big bill for repairs I was not surprised as I was already expecting some additional cost for the repairs this year and I appreciated the efforts he and his cohort went through to sort out the issues with our system Thank you for your assistance Dan, great job!

Our service person Jeff was polite, professional and diligent. He was happy to answer all my questions and gave me great feedback and recommendations for improving the performance of my HVAC unit. Thanks for the great service!

If I could give zero stars I would. Ever since the company switch they are not family oriented they are money oriented. We’ve had various problems over the last week and a half. The contract-warranty that we pay for does nothing. The percentage it took off our last bill was a joke. We will be looking into new companies as this is not a company we want to be with anymore.
