I have had the very good fortune to have engaged SHL Construction, led by Leo Hubin to undertake a gut renovation and build out of an upper duplex of our family brownstone in Park Slope. We met SHL through our architect and after getting some other proposals, hired them. SHL realized our architect’s vision to the height of perfection. Their attention to detail began with ensuring a very solidly constructed, well insulated and squeak free infrastructure. SHL builders did an amazing job! They build up my juice bar and result was outstanding! Better that I could ever imagine! You could see it with your eyes if you stop by at 62 Madison Ave! I was really impressed with their work, it’s just very rare when somebody can create what you can only imagine in your head! They did it perfectly! They are very responsive and easy to work with! It’s very hard to find a great construction company, that is a fact which everybody knows. But I was lucky enough to find it. They were responsive, timely, and took great care of our place while working on it. SHL did a full townhouse renovation for us in 2022. Leo and his team were absolutely amazing and a pleasure to work with. Their work is really high quality - and Leo has a great eye for detail. My husband is an architect and pretty picky - and even he loved working with SHL! They were reasonably priced and finished on time. You don't hear this in New York very often, but we loved working with SHL and would recommend them to anybody looking for a great GC!
