Short North Parking Garage

Very narrow and the ramps to the next level are narrow and steep. Idk how more accidents DONT happen because some people were driving way too fast. Terrifying. Will not be parking here again. Please enjoy my rating of the parking garage lmao

TLDR: pre-paying using Park Mobile is a scam. The actual garage company is unresponsive (and may be in on the Park Mobile scam). BEWARE of this garage. Park somewhere else if at all possible. I had the unfortunate experience of parking here for the Columbus Pride Parade in June. The location is very convenient and the garage is clean and well-lit (though I was there in the daytime; see photo attached to review). I pre-paid for my spot two days beforehand using Park Mobile. When I arrived early in the morning (~7am), there actually happened to be an attendant nearby and they told me that I would scan the QR code on my way out and that I should just go ahead and park. I just had one of the worst parking garage experiences in my life. I called for help and the attendant was EXTREMELY RUDE and did not help leaving me stuck in the garage. If you do not like your low wage job, do not take it out on the customers. For management: this occurred 3/31 around 4pm. Please getting better help. I will never park my vehicle in this garage ever again. And I will advocate as a journalist for others not to do the same. To the person who I spoke with be careful who you disrespect and how you treat people, you never know when karma will return to you… tenfold. Good luck!

Convenient parking at a decent fee. There is a sign that says to pay before returning to your vehicle, but this is likely an old sign that hasn't been removed. You can definitely pay as you drive your vehicle out.

The parking garage is conveniently located to Short North dining and fun and appeared to be safe and clean. There was a helpful and friendly staffer to help with the payment process on exit. The price was reasonable. The only drawback is that larger cars and trucks may have difficulty negotiating a right turn into the narrow entrance without going around the block to head straight in.
