They installed the roof in 2016. They no longer perform residential work and had a non transferable workmanship guarantee. Shingles began sliding off in 2019, and I just found a spot where they completely failed to place a shingle at a roof joint at the gutter line. Finally they failed to install a component correctly and I have wood damage just below the roof edge. Part 2. For anyone reading the review and the company’s response, note that they try to use the time of 9 years even though poor workmanship caused problems after only 3 years as my initial review indicated.

I had Showalter come out and quote/estimate moving bathroom fan exhaust, remove old attic fan and install new attic fan, and install soffit baffles and push insulation back to baffles. I was told they were out 2-3 weeks. I signed the agreement and it took 3 phone calls to get scheduled over a month later. Estimated 3/22/22 scheduled 4/2/22 work completed 5/4/22. As expected it took about most of the day for the work and the installer was polite. When the installer left there was no walk though and I didn't receive the old fan nor the packaging/box for the new fan that was mounted. Upon inspection there were baffles that were falling down and the junction box for the attic fan was left open with exposed wires hanging out, along with the thermometer/humidistat for the new fan were just hangi

Showalter Roofing did an excellent job installing a new roof for me. These guys are proffessional and go above and beyond for their customers like family. A month after the repair he called just to check up on everything. Highly recommend these guys!

Showalter does an excellent job of explaining their proposals and offers. Will even take their time to explain their competitors’ proposals and offers. I was truly impressed. About eight years ago, I had them install a new roof for me. I only had one tiny leak in 8 years. Considering installment of another roof on another section this year. They deserve a 5 star. Been around since 1979 for a reason.

From quote, to the scheduling, to completion, my entire experience with Showalter was fantastic. Everyone respected my time, always met their commitments and did excellent work. Special shout-outs to Andy in sales, Enrique, the project manager, the entire installation crew (my neighbors couldn’t believe how efficient and clean you were) and, finally, to Ryan & Marco who did some additional repairs and a gutter installation.
