Awful experience. Warranty not honored. Installation issues not addressed in a timely manor. Shutters paint delaminating within 1 year. Had hurricane shutters installed throughout the house. About a year after installation we had an issue with one window giving an electrical shock and another window motors not working properly. Likely not installed properly from the start. Took multiple calls and missed appointments to have a repair man come out only to find the warranty was not honored due to clause in the warranty that required a $400+ yearly maintinence fee must be paid. And to add to the experience, the sides of the shudder box paint is already delaminating..

Shutter Outlet has been servicing our storm shutters for nearly 20 years. The owner, Kevin, and manager, Lisa, have always gone above and beyond on annual service, quick warranty related repairs, and are consistently friendly, professional and solution oriented. Bought a house, previous owners had a shutter fixed prior to our move in by Shutter Outlet as it was not functional as part of our purchase. They were regularly using Shutter Outlet. Had a hurricane head our way a month later, we put down the same shutter and it broke BEFORE the storm even arrived but was stuck down. I called Shutter Outlet and explained the situation and they said no problem we can fix it after the storm if it’s stuck down. Called them a week later and they refused to stand by their previous work with the previous owners and cover the shutter repair stating “We have had a storm since then, who knows why it broke” despite that I called before the storm and noted it was broken.
