This is the 4th time I have hired SILMAC for a project, and this was the largest job by far - a full gut renovation of my kitchen, adding a powder room, and putting on an addition with a laundry/mudroom. I’m so pleased with how everything turned out - it is truly the space I had dreamed about when I bought the house! Joe and his crew are extremely reliable and responsive. It’s inevitable that bumps in the road will arise during a large renovation like this, especially in an old house, but Joe was proactive in addressing them and always kept me informed. His level of service truly stands out! It doesn’t surprise me that he has over 200 reviews and nearly a 5 star rating - he is that good! This was our 3rd project we contacted SILMAC Construction and Joe over the years. We need a complete refresh of condo unit in Charlestown in order to list and we working on very tight timeline. The refresh included refinishing wood floors, overall interior painting of the unit, electrical updating and final deep cleaning for showing of the unit. Joe jumped on the job on a Saturday less than 24 hours after our rental tenants moved out and completed the entire refresh in less than 10 days within the price he quote. We will continue to work Joe and Silmac in the future.

Joe and Silmac were hired to do a complete gut and renovation of my master bath to something sleek and modern that my designer and I had put together. I got the recommendation for Joe from a friend who did two bathroom renos and the work was beautiful. This bathroom scale was much larger and the quality of the work was top notch. SILMAC recently added new windows and a custom door to my garage. The windows needed reinforced framing which required mortar and wooden framing. Excellent work and the job was completed within a few days. I highly recommend their work. They painted the trim very good to provide a professional look.
