My wife and I hired the owner of Silver Restorations to remove the drop ceiling in our kitchen and dining room, replace it with drywall, and install recessed lighting. When the owner personally came to quote the job, he told us verbatim that the project would take “2–3 days.” Instead, the job stretched to over two weeks. There were multiple days where no one showed up at all, often with little to no communication, and then we would be told the day of that they planned to come into our home. Because of the delays and the significant mess left behind, I was forced to push back my move-in date. By day 7-8, I expressed my frustration and asked that the job be completed expeditiously. The work that was done was excellent. And it was done at a very needed but inconvenient time. The weather was not favorable but the work was done and my house looks brand new.
