Skogman Remodeling and Repair

We hired Skogman Remodeling to do an extensive remodel of our Great Room. Barry Bunten was our estimator/salesperson and worked with us throughout the project. Kent Herren was our carpenter (and a lot more) and was fantastic to work with. We talked with him before starting to make sure we were all on the same page and he did a great job of translating it all into a great outcome. Kent is truly a professional who cares deeply about the quality of his work. Communication with Barry and Kent was outstanding. Skogman provided a project schedule showing day by day activities over an approximately 4-week project window when we signed the contract in September of 2025. The start date was set as Jan 12th. I worked with Bob Rasmusson as my consultant in having a complete fireplace remodel. Dan completed most of the work other than the stone surround and did a great job. Bob’s communication regarding the progress of the work was fantastic especially compared to most contractors I have worked with in the past. Skogman Remodeling recently completed a renovation for us in our home. Barry Bunten worked closely with us to develop design plans for the remodel of our great room. The entire Skogman team was responsive to project changes and issues that arose were quickly addressed. Kudos go to Ted Simmons for bringing our plans to life. He went above and beyond in the demo, installation and answered questions and provide suggestions. The final result was fantastic!
