Sky Maids

I cannot thank Sky Maids enough. They helped me out numerous times during the course of my PhD, when it was very difficult to keep on top of my day-to-day chores. The ladies did an amazing job each time, turning my dingy cloister into a sparkling, palatial abode. It really helped to lift my spirits and keep me motivated to succeed to be able to come home to a clean apartment while trying to keep my head above water during my degree program. Sadly, I am moving out of their service area and I know that they will be a tough act to follow. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in the DC area.

This is my first time using their service and while the overall clean was good, I was pretty disappointed with the service overall. I booked a deep clean for 8 hours (2 ladies) and then the ladies show up and told me that I booked a standard clean for 2 hours which wasn't true. Customer service then reaches out to me and said that I was right the whole time and they misread my booking but offered no compensation or ways to make amends. They offered to come in on another day but that didn't work for me. Another disappointing thing is punctuality. They were a full 1 hour late to the cleaning. That's just not acceptable. So, I'm probably not going to use them again and look for another company. I had high hopes and for someone who never outsources for help and does things all by herself, this

The girls are amazing! We’ve been getting biweekly cleanings with them for around 9 months and have never had an issue. They are very fast to respond and have always accommodated when we’ve asked to skip a cleaning or two. They give an ETA and are always on time. As an extra, we have a dog and 2 cats and they have always been super nice to them while working (we know it could be annoying). Would 100% recommend you to use their services.

We have used this cleaning service for over five years. They are absolutely SPECTACULAR! They do an incredible job cleaning! Our house is always spotless. Always on time, professional, and easy to contact if we need to make a change or request detailed cleaning. I have recommended them to so many people!

Updated 2024 - Sky Maids continues to do a great job on our house - almost 10 years now! The price is good and the cleaning thorough. Leticia is very responsive by phone or text. W can easily get changes to schedule or have extra service included. The workers are polite and fast, but not too fast. Definitely recommend checking them out if you are in the area.
