Our realtor suggested Slaton and Son roofing to replace our aging roof in preparation for selling our house. We were immediately impressed with the professional manner in which the approached to project - from estimating the job to assisting us with selection of roofing materials and color. When they started the job, our first impressions were confirmed. They exceeded our expectations in various ways. For example, they did not just work around our numerous skylights, but removed them and then reset them for a water and air tight seal. They also replaced our gutters and downspouts and did a most thorough and professional job at that as well. Their clean up work was quick and complete. This is a first class outfit with whom we would gladly do business again.

Slaton & Sons is my go-to roofer for new roofs and repairs in Carmel and Monterey. When dealing with big ticket quotes you really want to make sure you can trust the person you are dealing with and DJ has earned my trust time and time again. He is super responsive, organized, and follows-through (unlike so many). Become a good client to them and you will be so happy to have them during an emergency.

Had a leak in the roof between storms called DJ and he was able to get someone out same day to patch the leak. Good communication and easy payment, would definitely call again.
