Slender Paving

Gravel covered the holes and cracks for a short time, but soon ended up in the street. Where I drive and needed the coverage and repairs most is just as bad as before. Nice guy and generous with dry gravel initially, but I left several calls about this and no response.

My old driveway was an eyesore. I contacted Leonard Slender, he came to my home the same day. Leonard suggested colored rock chip seal. He provided a sample of the material explaining how it would appear next to the garage and yard. Leonard took me to see other jobs he completed. I decided to hire Leonard to do the driveway. The work was completed two days after our initial meeting. His crew was hard working and diligent. The new driveway enhanced the appearance of my front yard. It exceeded my expectations. Started out great, they were very responsive and were out to quote the job in a couple days. Charged what seemed to be a fair price to chip seal my driveway. I was concerned about longevity due to an area with a steep incline and the monsoon rains we get here in Tucson. They assured me it would hold up and that it would be 100% covered for the first year under their warranty if I had any issues. Sure enough when the rains came the chip seal began to come up. I called a dozen times and left messages asking for help but no response. I called from a friends phone and pretended like I needed a quote in order to get a call back. They said they would be out within a week to look at it but never showed. Now the driveway is 10x worse than it was before the chip seal. $5k down the drain. Stay away

Having waited weeks for a local paving company to set a date for my driveway a representative from Slender paving knocked on my door and asked if I would be interested in having my driveway blacktopped so I asked for a quote. They came in several hundred dollars above what the local company had bid it for and I said that I would go with the other company. He asked what the bid was and when he was told agreed to do it for the same amount. Promising that they could do it the next day I agreed. A few specific requests, which were part of the bid from the other company (e.g. wings on the entrance), we agreed upon the price and work to be completed.
