SLOmow Professional Brush Clearing, Mastication and Excavation

We live in a high fire area and hired them to clear the hillsides. They arrived on time, had a knowledgeable crew, did an amazing job and left us with a plan for management of the area moving forward. They cleared in two days what would have taken us two years. The property looked so much better that the neighbors no property also hired them. Robert and Natalie, the owners, were wonderful to work with and really went above and beyond.

This company does great work. Don’t worry about the 2 review with people complaining some can’t be satisfied and it’s usually home owners who think that the owner must be on site every second but it doesn’t work that way. They work insane hours and bend over backwards to get the job done fast.

We had a large amount of acreage masticated and cleaned up by SLOmow and fencing installed. The land is hilly and was densely covered with brush; SLOmow did a beautiful job removing the brush while saving every single manzanita and ceanothus plant--this took a lot of skill and care and far exceeded our expectations. When SLOmow first came out to assess the job the owner explained the process he would recommend to not only remove the brush but to keep it from coming back; since part of the reason for the work was fire safety this made sense and even though it added to the cost it was absolutely worth it. We thought we would end up with cleared areas acting as firebreaks and a new fence. What we got far exceeded our expectations; the end result gave us beautiful and useable acreage which

Don't waste your money with this company. Their staff is unsupervised and irresponsible. We were not happy with their mastication operator and despite several requests to fix the issue, they were not able to get it right. The owners made un-ending excuses, were unprofessional and difficult to reach while their crew was on our property. They than handed us a huge bill and claimed the mastication operator worked 4 hours more than he actually had. Of course, they were never on the property, so how would they know. Stay away.
