Had Smart Foam come and insulate a bedroom and entryway addition. They did a great job. Spray foam is superior to traditional insulation in nearly every way. Don't get tunnel vision and focus solely on R value. The airtight seal that spray foam gives you is absolutely superior. My added bedroom is on a 2nd story above a garage and all 4 walls are exterior walls. There is no protection from the wind. Despite this, after adding spray foam the room is extremely comfortable with absolutely no drafts, even on the brutally windy -15 degree nights we have had recently. I'm so glad I went with spray foam, give these guys a call!
