SMC Air Conditioning

I don't give many reviews, and certainly not 5-star reviews, but this one is worth my time. One of our Daikin VRV systems was not cooling. Using the Daikin site's directory, I contacted 10 supposed "experts" before landing on SMC Air Conditioning. They sent Jordan and Sebastian who were professional, courteous, and all-around nice guys. They respected me and my property, which is a hallmark of a well managed company. I also had contact with Karolina (whom I assume is in operations). She too was very professional (especially given my rants about the product, not the service of SMC Air Conditioning). Communication about appointments and expected arrival time was excellent too. Hopefully, I will not need further service, but if I do, I will call SMC again.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They installed a new air conditioner in my condo a couple of years ago and I have had them out to service it at least 5 times since then. The most recent experience was just a few days ago when they put Freon in for the 3rd time. They charged me $550 even though the system has not held a charge since it had been installed. I would steer clear of this company. The technician was very nice, but he was just the messenger. Very frustrated!!

SMC Air Conditioning just finished my semi annual a/c system check up. Jordan & Sebastian were on time, very friendly and professional.
