Seth, Gary and the entire crew are amazing. Seth is such a great guy and a good representative for this company. They showed up at the exact time they indicated, had the entire old roof removed in no time and had the new roof installed on the house, garage, front porch and covered deck. Had the entire area cleaned up and were out of there by 1:00 pm. Unbelievable how quickly they get the job done but what is even more important is how professional they are. Everyone is so friendly also. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys. Excellent job to the entire team!!!

Hired Gary in August of 2018 for a tear off and roof replacement, roof was 22 years old and leaking around the vest stacks after some minor repairs by myself. They showed up not only one time, but 15 minutes early, knocked out the 1600 square foot house in about 7 hours and when I got home, they were already gone. I did a complete walk around of my property and was super impressed with the cleanup, we have dogs and a fenced back yard and was worried about waste and nails, I may of found 3 or 4 nails and enough waste to fit in the palm of my hand. Roof looks great and I waited until this time to post a review to give the roof the test of time, its PERFECT. Long story short he came in under the cost of the 4 other quotes I got, work and finish was exceptional, and he was prompt in answer

In 2016, Smith General Contracting did some repair work on my roof which included placing in a new exhaust pipe and repairing a leak on my back room of the house. They were fast, efficient and friendly. In the fall of 2017, though, the leak returned to the back room. Smith’s was conveniently working on a house across the street when I discovered the leak and I walked up to Gary to tell him about the problem. He handed me a piece of paper and pen to write down my number and he would contact me later. Gary reeked of marijuana so bad that I had to wash my hands when I got back to the house because the paper was coated in the smell. He called the next day and told me that he would be out tomorrow to look at it. He didn’t show up. I called him two days later and asked what happened and he

My front exterior soffit was falling out after high winds. Gary and his crew responded immediately to my call for repair. In less than an hour, they had repaired and had better secured the entire length of soffit, AND at a very reasonable price. Great local business!

Smith Contracting does a good job roofing a home.....they do quality work concerning roofing...which is their speciality...the bid they gave was competitive. I don't use google much, and so I did not use my real name....but wanted to put in a good word for the quality work they do roofing a home. I would say I believe they are the best roofer in Springfield. They also just finished our gutters and after a few bumps in the road they did an excellent job on the gutters as well.
