Smith Mechanical Heating and Cooling

There are to many issues to even bother typing them all out. They misdiagnosed the problem and charged me $290 for a $120 part. Problem came back with in 10 days. Sent another tech out said there was nothing wrong but my CO2 levels were exceeded the limit and that I would need a new furnace. Both texts each time out we're pushing hard for me to purchase a new furnace. I had another company come out who diagnosed it properly and tested the CO2 and they were at zero at the register which is where the test should be done. The owner joe, just told me that he was right and the other company is wrong but the other company was the only one that fixed the problem. So bottom line is the did not diagnose anything properly did not fix the problem all they were concerned with was telling me a $5,000 f

Our 30 year old furnace needed to be replaced, and of course it was winter. I got two estimates, but I was also searching for a new service company as our long time one had closed (retired) and I wasn’t happy with who was now managing our account. I selected Smith’s for their interest and attention to the project, the communication and the follow through. Great to work with, great product and the long term value we were looking for. They now have our business and we are pleased.

I would never suggest them to anyone ever! Was referred to them and not only did they start talking crap about me like I wasn’t going to pay them when I had been trying to pay them they also took parts out of my furnace and never replaced them. (Picture of what my furnace was left like) Also after addressing my concerns with them I was called and told I was making false allegations about them on my google review even though nothing here is false and I was told they would contact there attorney because of what I said here. They offered to give me 99$ dollars back if I deleted my google review all I asked for was my part back that was taken I didn’t even ask for a new one or for them to replace it just the broken crappy one back and they claimed they didn’t have it and his worker didn’t tak

While the company was unable to directly assist, they recommended a competitor who works on my style of heater. And the guy they recommended is incredible. Thank you for your assistance before this nasty storm at getting me to someone. I will forever recommend this business.

Called and got an appointment and was given a time range between 2-4 PM. Got a call that he was on the way and arrived promptly. Did a great job checking both the furnace and A/C. Would recommend them to anyone who needs service. Fast, friendly and knowledgeable.
