OMGosh….I am so impressed with this “Family Owned” Trucking company! No, I’m not a truck driver…However, I am a protective grandmother, whose granddaughter drives for Smith’s Trucking Inc. They treat her as if she’s part of their family. Her concerns are their concerns. They’re informative & care about the road conditions for their drivers. Steve (her dispatch) is awesome. He works with her in providing information & work-arounds, when needed. She continuously boasts about him & how much he cares. And the owner….Wow, words cannot express how grateful I am for this person. As an owner, he can pretty much do as “He” pleases & not be bothered with the concerns of “his” drivers. But such is not the case. He truly, whole heartly cares! Several times he has personally contacted my granddaug

Applied for a job in the washout. Was scheduled to start Monday the 15th. Was gonna do my paperwork yesterday. And I get a text that their gonna hold off. I asked if I can start next Monday they told me no. Then I asked if I still have the job. They told me no I said very unprofessional. They mentioned the Tru Shine truck wash that burned down a couple weeks ago. Sounds like their bringing their employees over and expanding. Their word is no good to you either is their handshake. I hope never see or talk to any of them ever again

Great company directed to dock for washout reminded to slide tandem($80 fee if you don't) found a spot to drop headed over to JBS and all in 20min. Didn't get his name but he realized I wasn't a typical trucker but I appreciate you.

They treat you like family. They know you by name. They work with you if you need to get home or need to take a day off in the middle of the week. They have top of the line equipment.

You should not charge drivers for trying to save your money, making drivers go way out of the way and spend more money out of your pocket for fuel cost and not take the toll roads, which would save your company money. YOU tell drivers if they take toll roads you make them pay for being out of route. It would be faster to take toll roads getting drivers to the destination faster and on time. Then they can get ready for the next load. Driver depend on loads the more loads they get the better their pay is. Not how many miles in a week for one load. Drivers want more that 2 loads a week. You should change this aspect of your business. Also the ping system You charge Driver if they dont do the ping system get get a fine. Drivers should not have to stop and mandate your truck for destination v
