Barry did a great job with designing and building a built in wall unit in the space that used to be a standard bedroom closet along one wall. His workmanship was very good and the price was what I would have expected for a custom wall unit built from scratch. Looking around for his next project.

Barry reached out to me to photograph a custom cabinet from his collection and was fantastic to work with! Providing a clear vision of the style and aesthetic he was seeking, the entire process was very smooth and Barry was always extremely prompt in communication. On the day-of our photoshoot, Barry was timely, professional and an overall joy to be around. Upon seeing the piece we were photographing, I was amazed at the craft and passion Barry has for his art. I would highly recommend his craftsmanship and look forward to working with him again!

Barry did a great job for me on my custom cabinets! I was originally looking to replace my kitchen cabinets but I saw the SoCal Carpentry website and decided to give Barry a call. We scheduled a time to go over the cabinets that I have and he suggested that I refinish the cabinets rather than replacing them because they were in decent shape and just needed to be more modern. SoCal Carpentry is a great place for your wood working needs. I reached Barry through a Google search. I had a small live edge olive wood project that he was happy to work on. He was very responsive and easy to talk to about my vision. His skill and expertise produced an simple and beautiful piece for my home. He welcomed me into his traditional wood-shop and explained how he would achieve my goals for the piece. His services were fair for his high end woodworking.
