They rely on subpar subcontractors with no professionalism or craftsmanship. • Overpromise and underdeliver: I had to stay on top of every detail myself, doing the job the contractor was hired to manage. • Unreliable: Never kept appointments or confirmed schedules. The only time they showed up on time was to collect payment. • Unsafe practices: At one point, a subcontractor was cutting concrete inside the bathroom with a gas‑powered tool, filling my entire home with smoke. I had to intervene to stop it and argue just to get basic protections like tarps in place. • Poor management: Subcontractors
