Sourdough Transfer

We had a very poor experience moving from western NY to Eagle River, AK using Vantage Movers who hired Bravo Moving. Bravo Moving contracted with Sourdough Transfer to unload a 40 ft conex with our household goods. Bravo Moving told them they had 2 hours to unload the conex while the driver waited (very unusual in our experience). Sourdough sent a crew of 6 guys (Jaelin, Chris, Brandon, Dennis, Dontehl and Pat) and they were amazing! They unloaded in just under 2 hours! This was incredible given that a lot of things weren't wrapped or packed, which meant they had to carry a lot of things individually that weren't boxed or protected. They put most things in the garage so the truck could leave and then worked with us to get everything that needed to go into the house into the appropriate roo

For a military move, was a great experience, until it came time to settle a claim. You will end up going back and forth with them as if they need to hold on to every penny possible, and will have no integrity for the settlement. Unfortunate, since before that we had a great interaction with everyone in the process.

We had Sourdough Transfer come and pack us out for our move from Fairbanks to Maine. The guys were courteous, efficient and professional. Moving is a bit of a stressor, and they were so nice about taking care of our house, our dogs and packing our things for the move. Thank you!!!!

I’ve have plenty of moves in 16 years and I must say Sourdough was one of the best when it came to delivering my items! I was able to get my household from the Port to my house in less than 3 days from arrival. The crew who delivered our items were courteous and attentive! They pointed out damages before I even saw them and I definitely appreciated it. Only giving 4 stars because my bed slats were put on the wrong way and they forgot to put together 2 items. Other than that they were great and didn’t mind my dogs being out!

They came out to move me from anchorage to Wisconsin. I believe they are by far the best moving company! Everyone was extremely professional, very kind especially to my pets. If i could use this company again I would. 100/10 Thank you for all the help Sourdough Transfer!!
