They have been doing work in our neighbor for weeks now, what appears to be installing fiber for Comcast. Not a major issue except they cut my AT&T fiber line on 18 Feb (had to have AT&T replace line), and then they cut the fiber to the whole neighborhood on 16 March. I pay good money for internet as I work and attend school from home. This is ridiculous. *Almost forgot, they destroyed a number of peoples yard and it wasn't until people started complaining that they went back to clean up their mess.

Destroyed our property during a service call and won’t take accountability for there actions. This happened the day before when it was raining. They decided to return without notifying us of the damage. I believe this is destruction of private property which is against law in the state of Georgia.

Apparently Being at beginning of subdivision, I’m first for Comcast install. Yesterday came home to yard cut up and trash. Worst insult is discovering that my water line damaged and sprinkler system ran two hours last night. In order to shut off sprinkler system, I had to shut off water at the street. I now have turn on water at street and use while sprinkler is running. So who’s going to pay to repair my irrigation system? First call to Southeast utilities, next to mayor’s office, next HOA, next state regulators and then irrigation repair

UPDATE: I was contacted by Roy from SEU, he was very understanding of my frustrations with the event and assured me that it will be taken care of. He was able to get a technician out to temporarily fix my issue, as of now because the workers buried the line. Cliff, the cable technician was very friendly and helpful. My internet is up and I have been informed that someone will be out tomorrow to splice the cut cable and hook up my existing line. SEU was very prompt and professional but the subcontractor company needs to be replaced and/or trained more properly. My internet cable was cut while they were laying Comcast cabling. The “supervisor” Jesus gave me a # to someone named Blanca, when I called she spoke perfect English when I described my issue she no longer could speak English and

They tore up our yards to install Xfinity fiber and did a horrendous job cleaning up after themselves. They have left wiring exposed in our yard and all through the neighborhood. There are mounds of dirt everywhere where they did not fill the holes they dug correctly. They just dumped a tarp where they collected the dirt they dug up back into the hole, threw some hay on top, and called it quits. There are places where utility boxes have not been replaced so there are active fall hazards in the neighborhood. They jumped ship yesterday evening and have not been back to correct the errors. I doubt they will return. I’ve done my research and these are not uncommon problems. I’m just glad they didn’t cut our existing internet service as they have elsewhere.
