Southern Appliance Repair

I saw all the 5.0 reviews, so I called this repair shop to replace a broken safety switch on my dryer door. They told me they had a $100 fee to come to my house, 30 minutes from their shop. Seemed high, but I figured replacing a door switch would not be bad. Man, was I wrong! Jeff Bales, the repair guy charged me $260! For a 20 minute switch replacement! I honestly feel that was too high. But, I needed the dryer fixed and went with this outfit because of the good reviews. In fairness, the guy changed the dryer door to open in the opposite direction, "at no extra charge." So, the way I feel about Southern Appliance Repair right now, if another appliance fails, I will have hauled away before I ever do business with this shop again.

I was very satisfied with Jeff. Our dryer was acting up and the manufacturer informed me it would be a costly repair if they would have to fix it. I called Jeff to take a look and he very quickly diagnosed the issue at a VERY reasonable price. Very kind and courteous when he is in your home and stays in contact with you about your appointment. Extremely satisfied and would highly recommend!!

I have contacted Jeff 3x in the last 2 weeks! He responded and addressed each issue professionally. My first refrigerator 's compressor blew a hole in it. I found another for $100 however it needed a control panel. Jeff ordered the part and installed it and I am so pleased with its performance. I highly recommend him!

I would recommend Jeff to anyone.His customer service was great he was very professional on the phone and in person very nice. I called earlier in the week and scheduled an appointment he came out and showed me what the problem was and fixed it the same day. I will definitely use him again.
