Southern Blue Lawn & Landscaping

Worst company, most horrible and unprofessional owner I've ever dealt with in my life! We just purchased a new home and we needed some Landscaping done,as well as some trees removed. I contacted Chris and had him come over to look at the scope of work. He lived in our neighborhood so we felt good about him and his plan of action after we met with him. He told us he would send us an estimate that we could look over and decide if we wanted to do the work. We never heard back from Chris. A few days later I come home from work and his company had spent an entire day removing trees from my property without our permission. No signed contract, no conversation about us agreeing to accept terms and starting the work. After doing the work he didn't even do everything he promised in our conversatio

The few negative (wordy) reviews here are so off point. Chris is "on it" and not out to rip off anybody. If you haven't paid him, pay him something! Man, I am disappointed with Antione's review below. Would love to hear the other side of this. Chris stays hopping busy and takes time for family, in my opinion. Let this guy stay in business, Antione. Like, give him a break! Yes, getting a hold of him is hard. He doesn't have a secretary, I believe. Chris worked like this for me: Called him one day, next day he was out and the job was done. Two 90 footers down and hauled away for cheap in 4 hours (2 for 1 price). That seems to fit his business style, in my opinion. I will wait til he can get here for a new dead tree on my property. It's worth it.

Chris took over my landscape maintenance 3 years ago and I couldn't be happier. He assigned a single team to provide quality lawn care and he personally visits every few weeks. They have also taken on landscape projects which were professionally done. (seems in Williamsburg - you get what you pay for - so I see Southern Blue as a good value) Highly recommend.

SCAM! Do not use this company. I spent 20000 with the company and they had a one year warranty and then wanted to blame anyone besides themselves for the plants dying. Then after they replaced they are giving me a bill. They did not even want to speak with the other landscaping company to resolve the issue. Take your business elsewhere. I was told to not use them from the beginning but he seemed genuine to begin with but once there is a problem, he wants to blame everyone else. He wont stand behind his warranty and will blame everyone but his company.

This company is a joke. Rude, unprofessional, did work that knowingly illegal and on someone else's property that ended them up as part of a lawsuit. No shock they are "temporarily" closed. Avoid all costs.
