Southern comfort came and replaced a oil furnace for all electric heat pump and guaranteed there work and gave me a military discount and said they would make things right ,got unit in had city come to so an inspection inspector said there were some things not right and the co. Needed to come back and fix.no one has ever came back I called and complained again this time the lady said she would send out a tech.he comes looks at things Does nothing said he needed to go back to the office and ser things up and get the parts he needed then he would call with a return time to do the work . I call and get no one on the phone I leave a message and get no response so to me southern comfort is southern rip off.

I don’t understand the great reviews.. maybe all 13 reviews are from friends and family? They wanted a service charge just to come out and provide a quote. Most reputable hvac businesses offer free quotes and don’t try to nickel and dime customers like that - red flag #1 The price in the quote they eventually provided is outrageous ($9500 for a basic 14.3 SEER2, 2 ton system + installation) and they justify the high cost with offers of financing - red flag #2 Shop around.

My Husband called them on a Friday morning to make an appt to get an estimate on a HVAC system. Was told we would get a call back. Never called back. Called them the following Tuesday once again said they would call. We had to call them back and finally got an appt for the following Tuesday afternoon. They never showed up and we never got a call. Very disappointed in their poor customer service.

Thumbs way up!! Their truck broke down on the way to our home on a Friday afternoon. I thought we were in for a sweltering weekend, but much to my delight, they came on a Saturday morning to fix our AC. Can't ask for better service than that.

When I say...this was an awesome experience, I mean it! The service was routine, but the technician was so totally professional. He was thorough, and went above and beyond on this simple, routine maintenance. You guys have truly won me over. I highly recommend Southern!!!
