Unacceptable and Dangerous Driving by Company Vehicle On 04.16.2025 5:41PM I encountered a Southern Maryland Heating & Air, Inc. service truck on the road. The driver exhibited reckless and highly unprofessional behavior: intentionally driving well below the speed limit to obstruct traffic, then accelerating aggressively whenever another vehicle attempted to pass. This was clearly not a matter of traffic conditions—it was deliberate and disruptive behavior. What made the situation worse was the driver’s demeanor. When I looked over, he appeared to be smiling in a way that suggested he was fully aware of what he was doing and found it amusing. These individuals try to run others off the road and place everyone around them in harms way. Dangerous and aggressive drivers, especially with your name displayed on the side of their truck, suggest that you hire unqualified and unhappy people. The quality of your HVAC work reflects this behavior, and the reviews you have received confirm it here. Imagine how they would act within a customers home. Stay away.

They install horrible systems and they refuse to honor warranty agreements. They also refuse to answer the call

One of the worst HVAC companies around. Cuts corners, and cheaply installs HVAC systems. Had my house installed by Southern Maryland and have had nothing but problems, and any time you need service, they never answer the phone. HIRE SOMEONE ELSE AND STAY FAR AWAY!!!

Called emergency on call four times today and let messages each time telling them my air unit went out and had two asthmatic children in the home! My home was at 84 degrees! Brand new home system only 2 1/2 years old. No one called me back!
