Southern Stone Surfaces

Honestly didn’t know what to expect given the other reviews, but wasn’t finding the right slabs after many outings to other local spots like Granite Empire, OHM, and Intelli Stone. While the customer service at all three places was great, I loved that Southern Stone had excellent selection of warmer tones and particularly of Quartzite and Marble slabs. They also have a very large selection of remnants that they can fabricate themselves. It was really nice to only have one vendor to deal with from start to finish. Deanna was wonderful, patient and provided the right amount of guidance - she was never overbearing and always knowledgeable. She helped steer us away from some slabs that were beautiful but not durable enough for our needs. And we were able to stay within our budget. Everything f

We researched quite a few companies before we decided on Southern Stone. We are so fortunate to have decided to go with this company. The installation of our quartz countertops was tricky but the experienced installers were up to the task. We chipped the edge of the countertop when emptying the dishwasher. I called to schedule a repair and the work was scheduled and completed by the end of the week. Thank you, Matthew! Peter did a fantastic job repairing the surface. We are so pleased with his work. Pay attention to the 1 star reviews. Any 5 star must be a friend. The owner is one of the nastiest people I've encountered in a long time. Customer service is horrible, thank goodness I saw the red flags before I purchased or I would have been as sorry as so many others have commented. Can't imagine how they are still in business. Update: The Owner, who stood there, not speaking a word while doing nothing, didn't wish us well, her exact words were "then get out" when I questioned the language in the release which was much more than a hold harmless agreement. Which, BTW, I've never been forced to sign and have entered dozens of supply houses over the years as a Realtor with clients. We were in utter disbelief as the two us were spending a combined $30k+ on quartzite.

Amanda and the team at Southern Stone were absolutely terrific. Throughout the entire process of renovating our new, old home, Amanda was crystal clear about the purchasing and installation process of getting new counters. She and Southern Stone were the best part of our two months construction and I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you for being so professional, smart and kind. Our counters look gorgeous!
