Carson was great! During the initial inspection he was honest and showed me exactly what needed to be fixed, and explained why, and the risks of not having the repairs made. He was up front about the costs for the repairs, and didn't try to tack on any extra charges. He did an excellent job in repairing everything and applying the heat shield to the chimney, as well as fixing the brick work and mortar on top. I was thoroughly impressed with his attention to detail, and professionalism! I would recommend Southern Tier Chimney Sweeps to anyone!

I had a cracking terracotta flue top, my cap was in pieces, and i wanted to update my woodstove with a stainless steel insert for this coming heating season. Carson came over to take a look and give an estimate for all the work. We decided to go ahead with the work and he ordered all the needed parts. About 3-4 weeks later he arrived with everything. I watched some of the work and was very impressed with his attention to detail. I went with all his recommendations for upgraded cap material, and the insulated ss insert. I was very pleased with all his work and the recc upgrades. I would have included pictures but it is all hidden and up on my roof. When he was done, he showed me pictures of the finished product and i couldn't be happier. Highly recommend!

We didn’t know what to expect, as we’d never had our chimney swept. We were hesitant to have the service done in the midst of the COVID outbreaks, but we were very comfortable as he arrived masked and followed social distancing. Carson was extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We feel that we can safely use our fireplaces in our home thanks to Carson. Very reasonable pricing for services provided, Highly recommend!

Carson is fantastic. Replied to my call right away and scheduled immediately for our gas fireplace inspection. I kept smelling gas and he thoroughly looked everywhere and found the cause of the leak! Carson is very professional & conscientious about his work. He did a thorough inspection of our chimney and then recommended several solutions to our issues.
