Southern Vista is the perfect name. If you like flowers and antiques, a little piece of heaven lies here. I missed the Antique sign when I arrived, so I went in to pay, and I must say I was blown away by the History that was inside. I was in Awww. I will be back; my visit brought me so much peace and joy!! You are in for a treat if you visit Southern Vista while in Columbia S.C.

I would NOT recommend for landscaping. Very poor communication. After leaving multiple emails, and multi phone calls They finally responded. When I specifically asked for nothing that needed dead-heading they put in pansies. Continue to have some irrigation issues. Supposedly irrigation guys are coming in the am.

So I know literally nothing about plants. The gentleman that helped me was so patient. All I knew was that I don’t have a green thumb so I needed durable plants and that I didn’t have a ton of space to work with. I told him my budget and he helped me figure everything out from there. I love how everything came together. I’ll probably go back for some hanging baskets. I would definitely recommend this place. They have a huge selection of plants and inside they have some pretty neat antiques.

Very friendly; knows plants. Told him containers I had, the sun conditions, and that I wanted easy to care for, year round plants and he helped me choose plants without high pressure sales tactics. And told me to bring the containers & he transplanted them for me! I've been having issues with my short term memory and he was very patient despite my keep forgetting what I'd already looked at. This will be my go to place from now on.
