Southland Insulators

We are a customer home builder in the NOVA area and have used Southland Insulators for at least 20 years. They have always been highly professional helpful and well priced. We have even used them for our personal homes. Can not recommend them enough. Sandy Tharpe who runs the production team and many more things, is a gem. You are in the best of hands with her. She will have your back. A+ business and employees.

They came out and didn’t finish the job as contracted and inconveniently offered to come back out when I work full time. The sales rep offered me a $5 discount lol. Hard pass. Wish I’d known these guys do the work for Fifth Fuel, with their misleading 4.9 rating. Edit: Read people’s reviews of these guys on Reddit. Don’t ignore the big red flag. They’re insulting and unprofessional and do a poor job. The picture I attach was taken just a couple of days after they finished. Total failure.

Truck 298 with Fredy, Daniel and Jesus did a great job at my house for the crawl space and the attic. Recommend them at your job! Luis Corado did a great job with the site survey and awesome estimate for the job.

We needed spray on foam insulation to encapsulate our crawl space. Southland came highly recommended by a trusted friend. Southland scheduled us and came out at the specified time and went right to work. The two men were very professional, conscientious, and took care not to damage the yard or landscaping with their long hose around the house. Their equipment is state of the art. When they finished, they cleaned everything up as if they were never there. A couple of weeks later, we noticed a small spot behind some duct work in the cellar that had been missed. We called Southern and they came right back out and took care of in no time. We are extremely happy with their work and now I too can highly recommend them!!!

Southland Insulators / Fifth Fuel encapsulated my large crawl space and they did an outstanding job and their price was great also! The crew was outstanding! They first removed all of the old insulation and other debris in the crawl space. Then they put foam board along the exterior crawl space walls and a heavy liner on the floor sealing any cracks etc. with spray foam. They were very neat. Removing all trash and minimizing any small trash from blowing (it was windy the day they removed the old insulation). I highly recommend this company.
