I hired Sparkle and Shine for a move-in cleaning, and I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. I expected the home to be spotless and ready to move into, but that was far from the case. When I returned and inspected the property, the drawers were still dirty and dusty, the fireplace had visible dust, and there was dirty run-back water left inside the refrigerator. It was clear that basic cleaning tasks were either rushed or not done at all. This was unacceptable, especially for a move-in cleaning where cleanliness should be the top priority. To make matters worse, the maid collected $70 in tips, as the person who let them in tip them $40 and and because I was away they send my the link and I tip them $30. Grateful to be able to support a local business here in Snellville. When I contacted Sparkle and Shine, they were able to actually fulfill the service the same day, which was very convenient. Prices are very reasonable. In addition, Nikki, the cleaner, did a great job focusing on the areas that were more important to us. We'll certainly be using their services regularly.

I only recommend this company if you want the staff to have bashing conversations about your home and you behind your back. When I originally booked the service the I thought it was very overpriced but I moved forward because of the great reviews. Shortly after, my husband was laid off and I needed to move the start date because of loss of income. I communicated within the policy and let the coordinators know why I moved the dates. They were gracious…so I thought. The last time over the holiday we had guests so I asked to move the date a few days to accommodate the guests. I have been a customer of Sparkle & Shine for 4 years for monthly cleanings, and have nothing but positive things to say about their service. They are communicative about changes to scheduling, collaborative when we need to alter our cleaning needs, and are consummate professionals in both quality and demeanor. Hired for a deep move in cleaning and window cleaning add on services. The women were kind, the cleaning was subpar at best. There were multiple areas left uncleaned/dusty (window, cabinets, vanity, toilet, light fixtures, etc.). It seems things were just wiped down and that’s it. We were asked to check their work to make sure everything was clean, which I did, but I didn’t notice everything until we started living in the home. I let the team know what I found after living in the home and they came to clean those areas. As time passed, I noticed more areas left uncleaned. I ended up deep cleaning the entire house myself and so glad I did. First and last time using them.
