Special Touch Restoration

We had house fire in 2023. We hired special touch restoration for our contents. Special touch gave verbal estimate of 40 K most and insurance covers everything and we do not have to worry about the cost. We did sign a contract without estimated amount. Special touch also told us plastic can't be saved because chemicals during fire makes it dangerous to use. Special touch took long time to clean our stuff. It took 4 months to get an email of some of non salvageable list. It took 6-7 months to get the email of the salvageable list. They saved a lot of our stuff they said it could not saved. We didn't get out stuff back for almost 13-14 months. After they clean, they put them in their storage unit and started charging storage fee of $1550 per month ( which was not mentioned to us) from almo

My home is only 3 mos old and while out handling my remediation, they discovered my builder, Smith Douglas didn’t add any insulation in the attic over my dining room.
