Squash Pest Control

I would no longer recommend Squash. They used to be reliable and provide excellent service, but since management changed and our exterminator left the company, the quality has significantly declined. They are now charging more for less frequent service, and there is no communication regarding when the Extermintor will arrive. There were multiple occasions where we had to proactively follow up to see when someone would service our home, yet we were still charged. There are no calls, texts, or emails before or after visits, which makes it difficult to feel confident about the service being provided. Squash did not show up for monthly services after we were loyal customers for years. When cancelled they did not return the key to our house so we had to change locks.

The management is unreliable and untrustworthy. The original company was bought over by these clowns. I paid with a credit card for an annual contract Not only did they store it in clear text but did so without my permission. When I called back to have it removed they did not remove it and wanted to charge it. I asked to speak with the manager, and she argued with me that my premium was due. But the premium is for the following year. It’s up to my discretion, whether I choose to renew it or not. Hence, I’m not going to renew it due to their poor security practices and report them to consumer affairs. The actual pest control technicians are reliable because they came along with the original company, but the new management has very poor business practices.

Dino is the best of the technicians that come to my home. Professional, pleasant and treats my home with respect. I’ve been with this company for 6 years and took a star off for their handling of renewal. I pay annually and in full for discount. I either mail check, hand check to tech or call in CC #. Yesterday I get a call asking for my CC to keep on file. What???? These days with data breaches, ID theft, why do you need it? I was on another call and then called back- office closed at 4:30. Mind you, my next visit was today so Tech leaves renewal bill and then I settle. Tech was told to collect like he’s a debt collector and I’m a deadbeat. If it wasn’t last minute I would cancel contract. I will however shop around and probably take my biz to Orkin or one of the other million pest cont
