I asked for a quote from this company for a sewer back up. This company assured me that they worked with MSD frequently, would complete the work for whatever MSD paid and put in writing that there would be no out of pocket cost for me. Several weeks later, they notified me that they had just discovered that MSD had a cap on reimbursement and this company would therefore not complete the contracted work, proposing instead a limited amount of work within the MSD reimbursement, or they suggested I pursue an insurance claim or pay the rest out of pocket. I then spoke directly with MSD who informed me that the cap had been in place for THREE YEARS, not recently, as this company alleged. If this company worked frequently with MSD, it seems implausible that they did not know of the three year
