We called a host of landscaping businesses for estimates to fix the incorrect swale in our backyard that created massive flooding during rain storms. Of all the Landscapers, Joe was the most responsive and caring. He spent considerable time listening to my concerns, and explained the science behind the flooding problem and what would need to be done to fix it. His estimate was the most reasonable of all the estimates I received. His crew was fantastic and worked very hard and efficiently. We ended up choosing to have sod put down to protect the new swale. Joe spent time teaching me what I needed to do to ensure the sod rooted properly. He set up a temporary sprinkler system with Bluetooth controllers so that I could control the system from my phone. I was impressed with the owner’s visit in which he spent an hour going over not only what I wanted done in yard, but he was very knowledgeable of plants and trees in my yard that others did not take much notice. The quote was very reasonable, and the team that came out were very polite and did a wonderful job. Joe is a decent, very nice and informed man who honestly does not seem to want to take you for every dime that can be gotten like so many would. They are coming back for future projects in fall and would defitienly recommend calling Joe and meeting him and getting a quote from Joe before you decide on another company.

We have been using Stable Landscaping for many years and we love the service. They take care in making sure our biweekly service is on time and attention to detail is amazing! We also use them for several other projects and they are fair and reasonable on pricing and do great work!

Do not use Stable Landscaping/Joe McCarthy. Took $6400.00 from me in July and never completed the work. Did four footers (incorrectly) and ledger board. Never picked up the building permit although he led me to believe he did and never had footers approved. Did not install brace correctly as shown on plans he submitted. Came home one day and there was a orange sticker on my door listing three violations from the township. Measurements wrong, the footers were incorrect and mistakes had to be corrected. Told me end of October he was shutting down his business for a few weeks. Left me without steps for my backdoor and siding off my house. Had to find a new contractor to first- fix footers, add more footers and adjust plans because his measurements were incorrect.
