Stair Creations

We just finished a project with Stair Creations. We changed carpet to hardwood floors in our 3 level townhouse and changed all the handrails from the old-looking original ones to a more modern look. Every member of the team is very knowledgeable and well trained. They have specific tasks assigned. The plan overall was well coordinated and completed on time. To me the most important thing was the ability to see the updates on the project everyday in an online system. The team uploads photos everyday about the progress. Also, Carlos specifically was calling us to address any doubts or questions, for example to schedule and select the final floor color. Unfortunately, my experience with Stair Creations was not positive. I recently installed new floors in my home and hired Stair Creations to sand my stairs and install new posts and railings. I met with Carlos who walked me through the process and gave me an expected timeframe. My project was done in three separate installments- removing the old railings/installing new posts, sanding and staining stairs, and touch ups that spanned several weeks. The crews did not communicate what times they were coming to begin work, did not properly cover furniture and surroundings, and did not clean up after themselves. The team that installed the railings dripped wood glue down the wall and onto the new floors and didn't bother to clean it up. The absolute worst part of the project was the touch ups and

Carlos, Enrique and team did a wonderful job building a new staircase and resurfacing my floors. They worked around my schedule to make the process as convenient as possible. They provided daily status updates and their team kept the mess to a minimum. I Highly recommend them.

We are thrilled with our new stair railings and posts! Carlos is so easy to work with - providing design suggestions and samples! He addressed the few issues we had during the project making sure that everything was fixed and to our liking! Alice was amazing! She kept us up to date on the project's schedule and any changes - checking in regularly! The team that did the construction were polite, professional and left the area they were working in clean. I love my new stairs! I did lots of research trying to find the right company to redo our old staircase. When we found this company it took some time to message back and forth due to their new system, but I must admit that I’m not disappointed with the wait. The owner is very young but detailed oriented, professional and respectful. I would most definitely refer him to anyone. They do quality work at a fraction of the cost and they are reliable and clean up very well after the job. Thanks so much for making my stairs so beautiful! Keep up the great work!
