I bet No one there remembers its owner Delbert May. He always wore a Stetson hat. Rob tol I haven't been to Standard since 2005 Reading the one star review makes me laugh, obviously you are not a contractor. Time is money and its a service to exchange a water heater. 20 minutes at the desk is time not taking orders I can order thousands of dollars worth of materials in five minutes. Someone in back has to handle the water heater. They have to dispose of the water heater. This place is the best. I needed to replace a shut off valve, after visiting both Home Depot and Lowe’s and coming empty handed I decided to give this place a shot. Everyone was super friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. Johnny at the counter was the staff who helped me. He was extremely knowledgeable and knew right away the part that I needed and went above and beyond duty to assist me and made sure that it would work. If you’re a plumber or doing it yourself, this is the place to go to as your first stop. Thank you Johnny and the nice ladies at the cashier.

Im from Kansas visiting our son. Had a small emergency, the guys at the counter were very helpful, the ladies up front made me feel like longtime customer.

The counter guy took one look at my bag o' parts and had what I needed...after way too many trips to the big box store. A tad pricey, yes, but worth the $$ in saving trips to other stores that don't carry the product for a 100 year old house. I highly recommend this place.
