Star Lake Station Garage

Confusing signage. There are no directions for where to exit the garage to enter the Light Rail station. You have to exit on L3 by foot to the station. All other exits make you walk through bushes. L2 has a car only enter exit. But no foot enter exit . The signage tells you to walk through the wall. There are signs for EV charging parking spots but no EV chargers installed nor any power sockets available. No eye level signage for where the stairs take you to which line platform.

I really like this new station! It's so close once you exit the freeway. It's well-lit, has ample security on site, and the parking garage is incredibly close to the lightrail platform access points. If you don't want to use the stairs or elevator in the parking garage, park on the third level. There's plenty of ADA parking as well as restroom facilities and drinking fountains, too. There isn't an escalator to the platform here, but there is a dedicated elevator for both north and south bound sides of the track. I personally prefer this site over the Federal Way Downtown location purely for the shorter distance from the garage to the platform. Very accessible especially for folks that may have mobility issues or disabilities.

Probably my favorite light rail station hella easy to use the bathroom but the one and only thing I could say that's bad is the sink water is freezing cold always and the air dryer just blows air it doesn't heat so it's like washing your hands in a cold river and then blowing cold air on them lol

Security present in the platform and garage. Multiple agents available. Clean facility. I felt safe.

Such a beautiful station, ample parking and very clean. Smooth ride to Star Lake station.
