Stavens Bros Water Wells

From drilling our original well in 1988 to service over the past 37 years, Stavens Brothers have been wonderful to work with. Always prompt for emergency service and very professional!

Our water stopped working completely and we have 2 young kids. Needed to have someone come out ASAP. Was grateful they could come out by 10am that day. Then it became 10:30am. Then after lunch. By 1pm we heard nothing. Fortunately, another company was able to come within the hour. Called Stavens back and got their voicemails. Texted them asking to cancel their appointment. Got “ok” back. Very unprofessional experience. Promised and never delivered.

Stavens Bros did a really great job repairing our aged water system. Great team. Following some quick diagnostics, explained the situation, and did the repair. Perfect. Value added - rcvd a new, improved well cap, too. Highly recommend.

Consummate professionals. I had a problem where my jet pump was running constantly. I called a name brand plumbing service and they quoted me a ridiculous price to fix the issue. I called around for well drilling companies and got a couple referrals to Stavens Bros. I looked them up online and they got good reviews through the Better Business Bureau (BBB). They are a smaller company but highly skilled, and very fair and honest about their work. They tackled the job at my house in Tolland for less than half the price of the name brand plumbers. Please spread the word, these guys are great.

We strongly recommend anyone working with Stavens GET A WRITTEN ESTIMATE FROM THE OWNER outlining exactly what they will do and at what cost, and what timeframe. They went badly overbudget for us, and didn't do several of the things they said they would do verbally over the phone for the original verbally quoted price. Because those items didn't get done, we're now repairing damage at our own cost. Don't believe the guy at the office - talk to the owner ONLY and then get it all in writing. They didn't arrive on the days they said they would - they had us do their prep work that we had no idea how to do claiming that us doing it would allow them to start the job the next day.
