Steffl Drilling & Pump

My husband and I bought our house in November of 2023 and Steffl replaced the well within a month (yes, December!). They even helped with all of the extra steps involved with our construction loan. We received four different bids on the project and Steffl was a bit more expensive than others. But for that the experience and quality have been beyond what I expected. Sam was out for his annual visit yesterday to keep everything working the best it can!

This past week we’ve had our old well abandoned and sealed, and our new well installed and hooked up. Randy let us know last Friday our old well needed to be replaced. From start to finish, communication has been amazing, from Laurie in the office to the gentlemen working on the systems. Any time questions came up they had answers, and were amazing about letting us watch and learn about what was going on. We truly appreciate everyone’s work, commitment, communication and humor. Thank you so much!

What a fantastic serviceman.. Randy is second to none.. thinking that when I called, they were going to send a tech out to evaluate the problem.. Heck no, Randy arrived quickly, was able to immediately identify the problem, and fixed it within an hour or two.. he installed the new pump, identified other problems as shown in the pictures, and I was up and running with water, in a very short amount of time. The most impressive thing was he had all the equipment and parts that he needed on the truck. He did not have to run to town or the shop, to pick something up that he may have forgotten. He was very confident and polite, and most of all knowledgeable.. he even remembered the specific details, and what he did at this property 5 years ago.. My husband and I cannot thank Steffl Drilling & Pump and Randy enough for their work on our well and tank. We just moved into our home in September 2020 and do not know much about well systems. We were having awful low water pressure that we couldn’t run more than one water source at a time in our home! We had a local well and pump person come out and investigate our issue and they did not solve our problem. Needless to say we were frustrated. Steffl Drilling and Pump was super responsive to our needs and answered our questions right away. We were impressed with how much background work they did to figure out all of the specifics of our pump. Randy came out to fix our pump and was very nice and patient with describing what was wrong. Sam came out to Big Lake in a very timely matter. His customer service was great and explained all of our options to us and the different pricing. He identified the problem and fixed it same day! We are very happy with this turn around. Our water pressure is better then ever and hooked us up with a brand new system. No one likes to pay to fix appliances in the house but we are very happy with this installation/replacement.
