If there was an option to five 0 stars, I would. The service provided was not even worth 1 star. Our water heater kept tripping the breaker, so we went through our home warranty, which partnered us with Stephen Mills Plumbing. When they called to schedule the appointment, I mentioned the electrical issue and my belief that one of the elements had gone bad. The representative said they would bring a replacement element when they came to take a look. When the appointment finally arrived, they sent Josh. He had an arrogant tone and was dismissive of everything I said about the element issue, insisting he would diagnose it himself and submit his findings to the home warranty company. Steven A Mills Plumbing was dispatched to fix a leak under my toilet on 10/14/24. They claimed to have fixed it. It continued to slowly leak, they were dispatched to come back out to reassess the issue in Aug 2025 and they noted they could not find a visible leak. They recommended a leak detection company be contracted as they suspected the leak to be located under the concrete floor. I paid $700+ to have a leak detection company out to the house. The only leak they found was a visible leak at the base of the toilet each time the toilet was flushed. Terrible experience from start to finish. We had Josh come out a couple of weeks ago through our home warranty to fix a leak in our crawl space. He didn’t even go down there himself, he had my husband crawl in for him and take a photo of the issue. After looking at the photo, he claimed the pipe had been “purposely damaged,” which was absolutely not true. He collected the $100 service fee and told the home warranty company not to cover it. We asked for an out-of-pocket quote and followed up multiple times, calling the office repeatedly, but never received a response from anyone. When we finally hired a different company, they confirmed the damage was weather-related, not intentional. This felt like a scam to collect the warranty fee without doing the work. Make sure that Josh is not the guy that comes out to do the work. These guys are just grabbing warranty money and not actually fixing the problem. Do not recommend. If you’re using 210 home warranty, be sure that this is not the plumbing company that they assigned to your job. They are masters at saying that something was improperly installed collecting the $100 and then leaving as quickly as they can.

Horrible horrible experience. Unprofessional. No call no show for multiple appointments. Claimed they could not fix without installing washout/access pipe. A-1 Drain Cleaning said they lied. A-1 had it cleaned, scoped and lines cleared in less than 30 mins with no new plumbing lines needing installed. People we spoke with were extremely rude. THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. I WOULD GIVE 0 or negative stars if I could. Look at the google reviews to see how many times they are scamming people and the warranty company. Same stories, either they don’t show up after collecting deposit, the ask for more money direct from client, or flat out are just incompetent and can not complete the repair. Straight scamming to collect the fee from the warranty company without doing any work. Disgusti
