Why aren't there more stars? Stewart and Bergen goes above and beyond usual customer service, and they do it with such thoughtfulness. I needed a solution for a door lock and multiple users, and Alex searched out options for me that were affordable, and then we talked it through to find exactly the right solution for our security needs. Cannot say enough good things about them.

The whole team was fantastic. Called and immediately got an appointment set. Alex came to fix the locks on both front and back doors. Super quick service and great pricing. I feel like I have a new house again. Thank you!

So I went to a usual local business prior to have a couple of car keys cut. 5 people at that store and a song and a dance later I was told they won’t, not can’t, won’t. Luckily one of the staff gave me the info for Stewart & Bergen and I drove over. The place immediately took me back to the stores of my youth. The owners were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, efficient and charged a fair price. I will simply go there first for all of my key needs and I would encourage you to as well. Alex from Stewart & Bergen Locksmith came and put a deadbolt in an old antique front door. Had a old lock with 3" skeleton key that was a pain to use. He did a good job and did adjustments until it fit right and was easy to work. I am definitely pleased with his work and would definitely use them again.

I have an 1830s + additions house, and have been going here for a couple of decades - everything from my Mom never closing the door to her safe because she didn't know the combination, to getting locks rekeyed, to my asking them to install a lock on an old, solid wood but narrow door. If I have a problem, it has always been solved, fast, efficiently, and with such courtesy. I am about to go back up there this week, as the old metal box inside a closet door will not catch, as the spring inside it is broken. It isn't the first time I have taken one of these up there!
