Stone Central

Do not use this company. They work with big box stores installing stone tops. Recently purchased a quarts top from Home Depot. They gave job to this company. Person sent out to template seems to have botched job or fabricators did. The installers knew stone was not right. They called into corporate for instructions. We're apparently told to try to fudge job and get it signed off. Job was unacceptable. They sent another tech to try to repair first issue. Which resulted in a new issue. They offered to do a free back splash to cover issue. That would not solve issue. In the meantime my plumber was in to plumb sink and discovered sink hole was cut too big and they installed sink with an over sized reveal. When concern was brought to thier attention. The rep gave a BS explanation

We went through Lowes for our Countertop. Every single appointment with Stone Central has been over five hours late. The install which was supposed to happen during the day between 11-2, the crew did not arrive until 6:40 PM. The installer did apologize and say he lost our paperwork. This is happening at a home that is still under construction, and my contractor had to stay on my dime because I could not be there in the evening due to my work. Not only were they late by 2 hours, but the install, is awful! The quartz Countertop has a bow to the right… over the dishwasher, and there was a difference in the height of the countertop. We purchased countertops through Home Depot in Utica. We decided on this based on the competitive price quote. We dealt with many people throughout the entire process, from the initial sales at Home Depot - excellent, to a follow-up to correct a minor fabrication error - was completed satisfactorily. Our measure-tech was on-time and was excellent. Very professional and courteous. Our countertops were fabricated relatively quickly, in fact we asked them to delay install since we were away for a week. Installation was OK - they were on the later side of their window and I headed into work. I had to rush home to modify a portion of our sink cabinet that the installation tech "could not" modify. From the inital order and scheduling with Stone Central, through the final instillation all staff were friendly, professional and true craftsmen. The three young men who showed up at my door to install the counter top were courteous, polite and friendly. They know their trade and did an excellent job putting the most beautiful counter top in place. The work is so well done, it is difficult to see the seam putting the two pieces together True craftsmen!!! I Love my counter top and i highly recommend this company for your kitchen project

Our first time having cabinets and counters installed so we didn’t know what to expect. The slab we picked from store looked even better in person. The installers did a great job, you can’t see the seams but where the two corner seams are you can feel them… I thought they were supposed to be sealed and unnoticeable. The people in the front office who gave us a tour to see our slab were wonderful, whomever cut the project seem to have done a great job, and the installers were very nice. And all were patient with our questions. We would go with them again.
