Stonecrest took our small cape home ten years ago and transformed it into our 5,000 sq. ft. dream home. Joe Pisoni and his team of craftsman completed the renovation on time and on budget but even more than that, they created a home of great character and with exceptional quality. It has now been ten years and the picture attached is a testament to the fact that there is not one settlement crack or any sign of peeling paint or other deterioration in the home. Avoid at All Costs! Stonecrest Builders may come in with a low estimate, but it’s a classic case of you get what you pay for. While some of the subcontractors he hires might be decent, any work done directly by the contractor or his crew is subpar at best—often handled by unskilled labor he picks up last minute. He consistently fails to follow through on his promises, and corners are cut at every opportunity. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere—this contractor is not trustworthy.

Joe is honest, knowledgable and a pleasure to work with. Joe built an extensive, highly detailed addition for us and completely renovated the existing part of our home nearly 10 years ago and we continue to be thrilled with his work. Joe's wealth of experience and calm, solution-oriented approach made our project a big success. Joe produced high quality work with metal, reclaimed timber, stone and every material our home required. Joe's excellent architectural taste when last minute finish decisions needed to be made were a plus as well. I trust Joe's advice unconditionally. Joe and his team are like an incurable disease that keeps bringing disappointment year after year after year. Over the past six or seven years I continue to find shoddy workmanship and quality that is incredibly poor. This was a very expensive job--one that has cost me more in repairs and aggravation than I can recount. Since having my home constructed by Stonecrest Builders I have found the following: 1- My plans called for baseboard heating, which I had. While away, Mr. Pisone pulled out my boiler and replaced it with a top opening boiler in my crawl space. It is next to impossible to service. Oh! and it is forced hot air.
