Late on a very busy and enjoyable Thanksgiving Day, we discovered we had no hot water. After checking things out, I noticed the water heater tank was leaking and realized we were about to begin an unpleasant replacement process. Since it was already late, we waited until the next morning to call. It was Black Friday, so most businesses in Lufkin were closed, but Strickland Plumbing offered emergency service. After speaking with their intake team, Mikey, the technician, called to understand the situation. I explained what was happening, and he told me that although they did not have the water heater in their warehouse, if I could locate one, they would be happy to install it. Our appointment was routine maintenance but Strickland went a step further and performed an inspection of our hvac system. The issues that were identified were probably in existence when maintenance was performed by a different company in the spring. Best experience I’ve ever had with plumbers! Fast expert repairs at a great and fair price. My wife and were stuck unable to shower or use the toilet due to a blocked main pipe. I spent the whole weekend trying to clear the blockage. The Strickland team of techs were here within a day and took just 30mins to clear the pipe and even sent a camera down to film it.
