SubSurface Stump Removal

Shane did a great job with removing two stumps in my yard. He called to locate for utilities prior to digging, he backfilled the holes and hauled away the debris. He was very polite and the project was completed quickly. I would recommend getting a quote if you need any stumps removed.

SubSurface and Shane removed my stump as a subcontractor for Meurer Brothers tree removal. Couldn't be more pleased. Underground utilities were located and flagged before work. I was called ahead of time the day of the job. The site was fairly much cleaned up. I would ask for SubSurface again.

We had an Oak tree removed and needed the stump ground out, from where we had previously had a Hosta garden around the tree. We contacted Sub Surface Stump Removal and we were not disappointed! They did an AMAZING JOB! From grinding the stump out to cleanup! They took time to remove the 'mulch' that resulted from the grinding as they went thru the tree. When they finished they raked the yard for what spread across from the dig area. When that was finished they even used their blower to clear the road and go back over the lawn where the grass had been laid flat from the tractors to have it back standing up We asked for dirt to be filled in to the hole and even that was done with out a mess. They blew the road clear of chips and dirt, leaving it looking like they had never been there. HIGH

They were professional and did a great job of removing the stump from our yard. They also took safety precautions for themselves. They did a great job cleaning up the wood chips and filling in the stump area with wood chips, making it completely flat. However, in hindsight, I wish they would have contacted us a week or so before the planned stump removal to talk us through the process, including asking the question, "would you like us to fill in the hole with wood chips from the stump, or do you have dirt that you like us to fill it in with?" We had hired a another company to cut the tree down. The tree company subcontracted to SubSurface Stump Removal to take out the stump and we did not talk to them until they showed up to take out the stump. All in all, we were quite pleased.

SubSurface did the stump removal for 2 trees I had removed by Meurer Brothers and they did a great job!! They were on time, very professional and polite and left the area clean. I was very impressed with the job they did!! I hope I don't need anymore trees removed but if I do,I want them to do the stump removal!
