We hired a contractor to do some concrete work for us and we had paid them in full and thought nothing more of it until a year or so later when we were selling our home. The title company informed us we had a lien on our home from Sunroc. After some research, we found out that the contractor didn't pay Sunroc for the concrete they supplied to them on our job, and now we were on the hook and had a lien on our house. We were given no heads up and had no knowledge that our contractor didn't pay for his supplies. Did the contractor get a lien on his house? No... Did they get any sort of repercussions? No... I know these guys have a job to do, but when the drivers of this company could care less about the safety of others on the road that becomes a problem. My husband and I were driving down I-15 the other day when we came upon one of these trucks that was in total violation of the safety laws. His truck was flinging out all kinds of dirt and rock, which one happened to hit our truck. We’re not talking a small rock either. Had this trucker covered his load and taken some other considerations that would of possibly taken him 15 minutes our truck and every other vehicle on the road that day would of been all the better without the damage. My daughter was driving NB on I-15 when a big metal squeegee flew out of a Sunroc truck. It caused $1700 worth of damage, but because she didn't write down a license plate number (while going 70 mph) they won't do anything. We gave them specific information as to where it happened at what time and how many people were in the vehicle. Somehow, they can't figure out who lost a squeegee at 7:45 am. I'm disgusted with their lack of responsibility.

I needed gravel for a job in Santaquin so I called the Spanish Fork location and the guy that answered the phone was very curtious. He let me know that they have a gravel pit in South Santaquin. I went to the South Santaquin location and picked up several trailer loads of gravel. From the guy in the loader to the lady in the scale house they couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.
