*This project began through the Hampton office, but was handled by the ownership that manages all Sunrise locations (Glander Management). Materials were also shipped to the Virginia Beach site as part of my project. Given the shared ownership and involvement across locations, I am posting this review across sites.* TLDR: DO NOT HIRE. Sunrise Kitchen and Bath left my house gutted for months with little to no work, knew early on there were cabinet issues, and took advantage of the fact that I was active-duty military and not local. I would not hire them again. I’m active-duty military and stationed out of the area, so I rely heavily on contractors being honest and organized. We initially had our meeting at the Chesapeake location; however, all locations are owned by the same company with the same Buisness license. I delayed writing this review because the experience was so upsetting, but I feel a responsibility to be honest for future customers. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Sunrise Kitchens Baths and Closets. It’s important to note that the majority of this company’s positive reviews are from previous ownership. Since the business was sold in September 2024, many of the employees referenced by name in those reviews are no longer with the company, which provides important context for prospective customers. Sunrise Kitchen and Bath is an excellent company to use for kitchen remodeling. From Mustafa, the Sunrise manager, to the fabricators/installers who come up from Raleigh, N.C., you cannot ask for a more professional team that stands behind their product at every step of the way. They arrive early or on time and make sure the customer is completely satisfied. Furthermore, they will not walk away until every small glitch is worked out. I was highly impressed with their work and would recommend then to anyone who wants a quality product and top-notch work.

Quick turn around once bath remodel began. Team was quick to correct any issues brought up and communicated before every decision. Just make sure what you discuss gets put in word for word in contract.

This company does great work. They have an unbeatable selection and their pricing is very fair. They completely remodeled our kitchen and two bathrooms in exactly three weeks which was a full week ahead of schedule. The project manager Shane visits the site regularly and ensures the customer is satisfied with every detail. Their cabinet guy, Poncho, is incredible. He worked tirelessly for 14 hours straight and finished all of the cabinet work in a day! The rest of the crew was extremely professional and good at what they do. I definitely recommend Sunrise.
