Superior Landscape Curbing

I used this company to install landscape curbing. I fell for Carey’s sales pitch. That was the only thing superior about his company. He hides behind the fact his company is veteran owned. He is an embarrassment to all honorable veterans. I had multiple issues after the installation. They range from wrong color and style to cracking to laying curbing on my sprinkler heads to his crew killing my grass by spilling sealer on it. I have tried multiple times to get in touch with Carey and or members of his crew. They have never acknowledged my attempts to talk about my issues. It as if Carey has disappeared or is hiding! As a matter of fact at least three of his crew have left his company. I talked to a former supervisor with his company. He wouldn’t get into the details but was able to tell me

I made the mistake of falling for the "nice guy" sales pitch and didn't check the reviews. Shame on me! I don't think this company deserves even one star. Crew left concrete overspray on the artificial turf. It took several phone calls and weeks to get someone to come clean it. One curb was poured in the wrong spot. No response to that issue. Color and texture was not as described. Very unhappy. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Went with SLC because our family is military and felt that being military Cary would have good ethics. Was wrong! He talked a good line and promised quality work and clean-up. The quote guy came out to see what I wanted and drew up a plan. The workers came but said they knew nothing of a plan. I wanted to curve around my sprinklers and they said their machine wouldn't do that. Had another company look at job and they were amazed at the poor quality, clean up and that they could have curved around my sprinklers. The work crew were friendly and polite. The clean-up was terrible. They left big hunks of concrete in and outside the border and concrete rubble in the yard. The quality also went down as they progressed. Superior Landscaping is far from superior. Recommended by a neighbor so we called for a quote. Cary was a nice guy or so we thought. He crew came out to do the job as scheduled. They were 2 hrs late but we’ll overlook that. They did remove all the mulch, put down plastic sheeting before placing stone. The border was done nicely except they covered one of our sprinklers. The crew leader explained that Cary had miscalculated the amount of stone needed but they would bring some more on Friday. My mistake was paying that day. My bad! I’m very trusting, the crew was nice, cleaned up nicely I had no reason not to believe they won’t bring the needed stones on Friday. It’s been almost six months with no additional stones. This is the single worse experience I have ever had! The owner Cary came to our home and we picked a finish. Told us they would call for installation but they were booked at least a month out.Received call shortly thereafter that they were on their way. Came to home with an invoice with another address but our name. Upon installation product looked much darker, however we did not have the pic submitted to our HOA to compare. Thought it would dry lighter and it did not. Once we got the picture back, it looks like a totally different curb than what we agreed. While there the sealant container broke spraying sealant all over our grass killing it in several places. It has been a month and the curbing is already cracking. Calls as well as messages to the company on Facebook have gone completely
