I should have left a positive review a year ago when Surfside installed our new HVAC system, so this is a bit overdue. When it was time to replace the unit, I did what I always do and got 3+ quotes to compare value and proposal strength. I actually ended up getting more because there was such a massive gap in what different companies were recommending. Surfside took a completely different approach. The owner asked thoughtful questions, educated me on the market shifts (new refrigerant standards in 2025 and rising equipment costs), reviewed my existing system, and then made a clear, practical recommendation. We have been using Surfside for several years to do our AC maintenance. Our system was getting old, and needed to be replaced. We called and had Brian the owner come out, he gave us a competitive quote, based off some others we had received, so we decided to go with them for a new system install. On the day of the install, the crew arrived on time. They were friendly, courteous then got right to work. They finished up in the afternoon, everything went smoothly. The team at Surfside are awesome. The techs were very helpful on helping me understand my equipment. How important it is to change my filters and have my unit maintained on a regular basis.
